Fatal car crash in Oklahoma claims 2 lives

A car accident in Oklahoma has claimed the life of a 22-year-old woman and a teenage girl. The fatal car crash involved three vehicles, two of which caught fire after the collision. According to law enforcement, the two deceased victims were declared dead at the scene of the collision.

The woman was driving a truck along Oklahoma SH 9 when she slowed down to make a left turn. A vehicle following the woman hit her truck from behind, pushing the vehicle into the westbound lane of traffic. The truck collided with a third vehicle, leaving two people dead and three other people with minor injuries.

Oklahoma authorities have determined that inattention was to blame for the accident and the deaths of the woman and young girl. As this tragic accident illustrates, an inattentive or distracted driver can cause serious injuries and even fatalities. Research indicates that distracted or inattentive drivers can cause as much damage as a drunk driver. Just one moment of inattention can change the life of a family forever. Fortunately, families of people killed in wrongful death accidents have the right to seek compensation for their loss.

No amount of money can undo accident damage or bring back a loved one who was killed in a fatal car crash. However, a family can seek a legal remedy for the financial losses that often accompany the unexpected loss of a loved one. Those left behind may take steps to protect their rights by seeking a complete case evaluation with an experienced personal injury lawyer.
